Devoxx Belgium 2027
Deep dives, hands-on labs and conference talks on Java, AI, cloud, architecture and everything that makes us better at building software — on giant cinema screens.
Registration opens on 16 August 2027. Where developers and builders meet, in Antwerp.
Devoxx Belgium
Devoxx Belgium 2027 will once again transform Antwerp into the meeting place for developers, architects, builders, and innovators shaping the future of software engineering.
One thing is becoming increasingly clear: we are entering a new era where developers are evolving into builders. AI Agents, autonomous workflows, Spec-Driven Development, and ever more capable coding assistants are fundamentally reshaping how software is designed, built, reviewed, and maintained. From multi-agent architectures (A2A) and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to local LLM clusters, GPU inference, and next-generation Java AI libraries, Devoxx Belgium 2027 will explore a future where humans and intelligent systems collaborate side by side.
With Java 29 expected around the time of Devoxx Belgium 2027, the Java ecosystem continues to prove why it remains at the heart of modern software development. As innovation accelerates around concurrency, performance, cloud-native development, and AI integration, Java is evolving into a powerful foundation for the next generation of intelligent software systems.
Under the theme “FROM DEVELOPER TO BUILDER”, Devoxx Belgium 2027 will explore the rise of Agentic Engineering, AI-powered software creation, local and cloud-based AI ecosystems, intelligent developer tooling, and the evolving role of developers in an age where software increasingly builds software itself.
The future is not about replacing developers. It’s about giving builders superpowers.
But Devoxx has never only been about technology. It’s about community. Thousands of passionate developers, speakers, sponsors, and technology leaders will once again come together in Antwerp to exchange ideas, share knowledge, and help shape what comes next. See you in Antwerp for Devoxx Belgium 2027.

Two kinds of days, one week
Start the week going deep on a few topics, then spend three days sampling everything the industry is working on. Want both? The Combi pass covers Deep Dive and Conference days.
Deep Dive days
Three-hour sessions, hands-on labs and lunch talks. You leave with working code, not just slides.
Conference days
Keynotes, 50-minute talks, hands-on labs, tools-in-action demos and 40-minute lunch talks across many rooms.
BOFs & community
Birds-of-a-feather sessions, user group meetups and the hallway track that keeps going after the last talk.
Free recordings
Talks are recorded and published on the Devoxx YouTube channel, so you can catch the ones you missed.
What you take home
Straight from the source
Hear from the people who build the JDK, the frameworks and the tools you use every day — and ask them questions in person.
Skills for Monday morning
Labs and deep dives focus on techniques you can apply on your own codebase the week after.
A map of what's next
From new Java releases to AI-assisted development, get an honest view of what is ready for production and what is hype.
Your people
Thousands of developers from across Europe and beyond, in one building, for one week.
